Have you heard? Race Mode now has a dedicated drift simulator — purpose-built for those who love sliding sideways and living on the edge of control.
Just like our other simulators, this isn’t an arcade setup or a home gaming console. It’s a high-fidelity motion simulator, built around D-Box motion platforms and premium components, designed to deliver the most realistic drifting experience possible. With a manual transmission, three pedals, and a precision handbrake, everything about this setup is engineered to get your heart racing and your tyres smoking (virtually, of course).

So, how does drifting work at Race Mode?
Whether you choose a 30-minute taster session or go all in with a full hour, we’ve got something for everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned sideways drivers.
For newcomers, we’ll guide you through the basics: initiating a drift, balancing throttle and steering, and holding the car in a controlled slide. If you’re already confident, we’ve got challenging tracks, a variety of cars, and drift competitions to put your skills to the test.
Drift circuits range from simple practice arenas — packed with tight bends and flowing corners — to legendary courses like the Gunsai Touge, ideal for those ready to push their limits. You’ll also find layouts of famous race circuits like Brands Hatch and Suzuka, perfect for stylish cornering and competitive drifting.
Never drifted before? No problem.
Our team will help you get started with simple, confidence-building instruction. You can learn drifting at lower speeds on our drift test course, gradually working up to more ambitious runs as your skill and confidence grow. It’s thrilling, challenging, and incredibly satisfying.
What cars can I drift?
We’ve handpicked a lineup of dedicated drift cars with tuned setups and enough power to keep those rear wheels spinning. You’ll find all the fan favourites from Nissan, Toyota, and BMW — each offering its own unique handling and power characteristics. Whether you're into classic JDM icons or Euro drift machines, we've got you covered.

Who can take part?
Our drift simulator is best suited for drivers aged 16 and up, mainly due to the complexity of manual controls and the simulator’s slightly larger chassis size. That said, we always do our best to accommodate younger drivers — just get in touch, and we’ll see what we can do to make it work.
Tell me more about the drift challenges!
Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll be ready to take on our drift challenges. Our simulator scores your run based on speed, angle, and control — rewarding precision and punishing overcooking it with point deductions for spins or going off-track. Rack up a high score to extend your run and climb our leaderboard!
We’ll be running regular drift leaderboards with set track and car combinations, so you can compete against friends — or the Race Mode community — for bragging rights and top spot glory.
