This event is all about teamwork and your combined driving abilities
Put together your 2-driver team to battle the competition in a month-long team time trial.
How does it work?
Your team will compete in two different fastest lap competitions, only one driver from each team can set laps in each competition.
One driver will be entering Class A, using Class A cars.
The second driver will be competing in Class B, using class B cars.
Class B cars are likely to be easier to learn, more stable at speed and easier to extract the fastest time from.
Drivers can enter their best laps throughout the month of March with their team result being made from the combined best lap by each driver.
Sounds easy?....there is a twist!
Cars will be allocated randomly from a carefully chosen list, with all cars in each class being broadly comparable in performance to each other. As a team you will need to help each other get the fastest lap they can in their assigned car. Drive the track together or separately that’s upto you. Each team will have slightly different combination of machinery, so it’s all about learning the car you have, and getting the best time from it.
The track and cars will be announced on the 1st March via our social media this will stop drivers practicing on the leadup to the competition starting.
Oh, one extra thing!
No team can have more than one driver who qualified in the top 8 for the 2025 Ultimate Sim Racer competition, this is to keep things a little bit more competitive between teams.
Time to start thinking who your perfect teammate is and what your team name is going to be!
If you want to take part and don’t have the perfect co-driver then drop us an email (racecontrol@race-mode.co.uk) and we will pair you up with someone suitable.
What’s the prize?
The fastest four teams (8 drivers) will be invited back to Race Mode for a free endurance race night where they will compete as a team to beat the competition. There will be trophies for the winners.

Details
The driver / car pairing cannot be changed throughout the competition. Race Mode will record the driver and car pairing at the point of entry to the competition.
Laps must be set during a standard Race Mode practice session.
Everyone will be using the same track that has been chosen to suit the cars in both classes.
Lap cuts will discount the lap from competition.
Cars in each class have been grouped based on their power to weight ratio but do have subtle differences in their driving characteristics.
Drivers can set as many laps within the month as they like, only the fastest clean lap from each driver will be counted for the combined team time.
