Liability

• Drivers participate on Race Mode’s simulators at their own risk.

• Race Mode Ltd accepts no responsibility for any injuries, accidents or illness caused at the venue to drivers, spectators or visitors.

• Race Mode Ltd accepts no responsibility for the possessions of drivers, spectators and visitors. We advise that individuals do not bring valuable possessions into the venue, and if they must, they should be kept on their person at all times.

• Race Mode Ltd accepts no liability for damage of items caused by the use of simulators.

 

Restrictions on use

a) Age

• The suggested minimum age for use of the simulators is 12 years old.

• Under 16s are not permitted in the venue unless escorted by a responsible adult.

b) Size
Whilst Race Mode will make reasonable adjustments to its simulators to accommodate all customers, the advised minimum height to use a simulator is 153cm (5 foot 0 inches), however this may vary from person to person.
Whilst we are able to adjust the seat and pedal positions on our simulators, we strongly suggest that any drivers that are:

• below 153cm (5 foot) in height

• above 193cm (6 foot 4 inches) in height

• above 114kg (18 stone) in weight

c) Medical Conditions

• The Race Mode simulators provide a fully immersive experience and give varying degrees of motion feedback through the steering wheel, and motion platform. It is your responsibility to decide if it is safe for you to participate with your medical conditions, and to inform Race Mode Ltd of any existing medical conditions that could affect your participation.

• The list of conditions you must advise us on includes (but is not limited to) heart conditions, back conditions, musculo-skeletal conditions and epilepsy.

• You may not participate in the use of simulators whilst pregnant.

d) Alcohol and drugs
Smoking and vaping is prohibited within the Race Mode venue
You may not participate in sim racing when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
 

Behaviour

Treatment of Equipment and facilities

• Use of the simulators and other parts of the venue are provided subject to them being treated in a respectable fashion. If you are found to have wilfully or deliberately damaged equipment or other parts of the venue you will be charged for repairs or replacement of damaged items. Additionally, if wilful damage causes the business to lose custom we may seek additional compensation.

Threatening behaviour

• Anti-social or aggressive behaviour towards anyone (staff or other visitors) whilst at the venue will not be tolerated. Race Mode Ltd staff reserves the right to refuse access to our facilities and remove anyone from our venue if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or threatening.

Language

• We request that all visitors to Race Mode Ltd refrain from using inappropriate, or controversial language whilst on site.  Race Mode Ltd staff reserve the right to remove individuals from the simulators and the venue for continued use of inappropriate language.
   

Parking 

• Parking is available free of charge on site whilst booked into Race Mode Ltd, this is available on a first come first served basis.

• Please consider other business users on the business park when parking by not blocking other cars, access to doors or access roads on the estate.

• Race Mode Ltd accepts no responsibility for any charges incurred by visitors parking.

• Race Mode Ltd accept no responsibility for any damage to vehicles parked on site.

 

Booking 

Open Practice Sessions, Race Sessions and Time Trial sessions

• Full payment must be made at the time of booking to guarantee your space(s).

• It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are correct at the time of booking.

• All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

• You should arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure we can register you before your session. We cannot refund or make allowances for late arrivals.

• In the event that we need to cancel your booking due to a reason beyond the control of Race Mode Ltd, you will be entitled to a credit to use at a later date or a full refund of the booking cost.

• Your booking reserves only the number of spaces stated in your confirmation. Whilst we may have spare capacity on the day we cannot guarantee this. Please contact us prior to travelling to confirm when extra spaces are required.

Exclusive venue bookings / Private Events 

• Payment terms are to be agreed at the time of booking

• The booking will be held pending payment. Failure to make payment for the booking within the agreed terms will result in the booking being cancelled and the booking slot will be made available for other customers.

• Once booked, you cannot increase the number of drivers without agreeing this with Race Mode Ltd.

• It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are correct at the time of booking.

• All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure we can register you before your session. No refund or transfer of simulator time will be made for those who are late.

• In the event that we need to cancel your booking due to a reason beyond the control of Race Mode Ltd, you will be entitled to a credit to use at a later date or a full refund of the booking cost.

Online Bookings

• By using our online booking system, you agree for us to use your contact details (email address and/or telephone number) in relation to the booking. Your contact details will NOT automatically be applied to our marketing database.
   

Refund/ Cancellation Policy

• All bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

• This applies in all circumstances except when Race Mode Ltd cannot accommodate your booking for reasons outside of its control.

• In cases where a booking cannot be delivered due to circumstances out of its control, Race Mode Ltd will arrange for the event to be rescheduled for a mutually convenient time or offer a full refund will be paid.

 

Discounts and Promotions

• No cash alternative is available.

• Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

• Restrictions may apply when booking and places are offered on a first come, first served basis.

• Race Mode Ltd reserves the right to withdraw a promotion at any time.
