Ultimate Sim Racer is Back!

Last autumn, Race Mode ran our biggest competition to date: The Ultimate Sim Racer 2025. The aim was simple — to find out who really was the fastest racer in North Devon.

Plenty of drivers will claim the title, but sim racing has a great way of settling the argument! By putting everyone behind the wheel of the same simulator, we remove many of the advantages that can come from having a faster car, more power or the perfect setup. What’s left? Driver talent.

The Ultimate Sim Racer 2025

Approximately 30 drivers took part in the qualifying rounds, each chasing a top spot in one of our qualification competitions.

The top eight drivers then progressed to a free final race night, where they went head-to-head for the title. The result was some spectacular racing, plenty of close competition and a final that really put our drivers' skills to the test.

Now, we're ready to do it all again!

Four New Challenges for 2026

The Ultimate Sim Racer is returning in October 2026, with four brand-new qualification competitions.

At the end of the month, the top two drivers from each competition will earn their place in the final showdown, giving eight of the fastest drivers the chance to battle it out for the Ultimate Sim Racer title.

Last year, each qualification round had a different country-themed combination of car and track. This year, we're mixing things up with four very different classes of car, designed to appeal to an even wider range of drivers.

Can you tame the classics? Perhaps you can set the perfect lap in a modern GT car. Maybe single-seater formula cars are your speciality, or perhaps you're all about the high-intensity action of touring cars. There will be something for everyone.

But What Will You Be Driving?

The Race Mode team have been busy preparing the cars and tracks for this year's competition.

And no... we're not giving you any hints just yet!

The car and track combinations for all four qualification competitions will be announced on our website and social media on 30th September.

So, keep your eyes peeled and start thinking about how you're going to prepare.

How Do I Enter?

Entering is simple. Just book a standard practice session at Race Mode and set your best laps in one or more of the four qualification competitions.

Whether you're a seasoned sim racer, a competitive gamer or simply fancy finding out how fast you really are, this is your chance to put your skills to the test.
